I can think of few greater distractions than poor sound and lines of sight. Uncomfortable seating is another predictor of poor audience engagement. For virtual events, clear visuals, engaging content, and minimizing distractions are equally important.

Follow Up and Maintain Momentum After Your Townhall

After the townhall, follow up with participants to maintain momentum. Share a summary of key takeaways, highlight how feedback will be acted upon, and provide updates on unresolved questions. This demonstrates accountability and reinforces the value of the event.
