Where Was I?
It’s been three years since I last put pen to paper—or fingers to keyboard—and it feels amazing to be back. You may be wondering why I paused for so long and why now feels like the right time to return to writing. The truth is, these last few years have been a whirlwind, with much of my attention focused on working with clients in an online world, growing my business and connecting with past clients. Now, with greater clarity on the work I want to do for the next 10 to 15 years (really!!), I’m ready to share my thoughts, ideas, and experiences once again.
The break wasn’t unintentional. Like many solopreneurs, I became deeply immersed in my business, devoting much of my energy to reaching out to many of my favourite clients who have I’ve had the pleasure of serving for many years. There’s something special about rekindling those relationships and showing how much their loyalty and trust have meant to me. It’s been a period of growth, both personally and professionally. I’ve expanded my services, gained new insights, and honed my approach, all while keeping the heart of my work intact.
Why Did I Come Back?
However, something inside has been whispering that it may be time to write again. Not only to share updates and insights but also to connect with you on a deeper level. In truth I far prefer communicating and connecting voice-to-voice, and hence the launch of my podcast, “Discover Fresh Perspectives” this past January. I find writing to be a much greater challenge for me–I have to work harder and think deeper to put my thoughts down on electronic paper. I liken this to heading back to the gym to work out because it is supposed to be good for me, not because it’s going to be easy and a source of deep joy!
So What’s New?
One of the key motivations behind my decision to start writing again is my new podcast, “Discover Fresh Perspectives.” The podcast has opened up a world of delightful conversations with people who challenge conventional thinking and encourage me and (and you!) to view life and business through new lenses. These rich discussions are inspiring me to bring that same level of exploration to my writing. I want to delve deeper into the stories, ideas, and lessons that arise from these conversations and share them with a wider audience.
This journey back to writing is also about growth—mostly mine and hopefully yours, too. Through my blog, I plan to share valuable insights, fresh perspectives, and, hopefully, inspiration that can help you navigate your own challenges and triumphs, whether in business or life.
Please Encourage Me To Write Regularly–Good Practice for Both of Us!
Thank you for your continued support. I look forward to sharing more with you as we embark on this exciting new phase together!

David. Yes. I’m another voice encouraging you to write. And, as you said, it is good for both of us!

One voice actually means a lot, Peggee-thank you very much! Guess I better start noodling on my next one. Perhaps something on the value and impact a single voice can generate!
Yes write!! It might be reflections on your experiences. You are an excellent writer, and it’s all about taking the time put the pen to paper.
David.
I enjoy reading your writing because it gives me time to pause, reflect, take the conversation somewhere in my head. It does require more work by the writer and the reader,
Maybe I’m just in a place in my life where things are in slow motion, but the writing allows me to absorb the content.

Well then, I’m going to keep writing as long as I’m sufficiently interested in the topic—which should be fairly easy! I know that I love learning about people on my podcast. Could probably pull it some good content from those conversations.
I tend to think and speak quickly. Slowing down will be a noble challenge!
